I went to my best friend/ little "sister's" sweet 16. It was right on the beach and I got to experience the beach at midnight and I even saw a shooting star and the moon rise. I had so much fun mostly because I got to photograph the entire thing. It's amazing to watch someone grow up beautifully.
So before the party, I had to pick the perfect outfit. One that would be a statement maker (you know me). I finally picked up this tutu from BCBG. It was very comfortable and I paired it with some black vintage booties that you can't really see. And to tone down the ballerina look I covered up with a black bomber from Forever 21.

I'm officially back in school which means I'll be a busy bee, but don't worry I will still be blogging. I don't have a back to school outfit because I have uniform. A lot fashion-desperate ask me how I express my style at school. Well, there's shoes and accessories. I play around with my school style and wear statement earrings and watches. For shoes, I sport around in flats or sneakers ( see previous post on Tory Burch sneakers). As for these red babies, I don't plan on wearing them to school. I'll save them for later.

I love how handy these door pockets are. I keep everything in them from scarves, to headbands, wallets, small clutches, and hair ties too. I definitely recommend this to any fashionista in search for organization. After all, good "compartment-ship" is necessary when it comes to organizing. You can find one at Marshall's, T.J Maxx, Target, etc.

Houston's Miami

Went to dinner at Houston's in Miami. I didn't bring my Nikon, so these Blackberry photos will have to do for now. I had a house salad (above) and it was the best salad I've ever had! I don't even remember what was in it. Our table had a view of the ocean where boats were parked and bobbed with the wind. I don't know if I've ever mentioned, but I LOVE the water. (Sorry for the poor picture quality, but my outfit consists of: F21 button down top, Gilly Hicks skirt, Gucci black vintage bag, American Eagle pearls).

Yes, I am definitely in love with these Tory Burch sneakers. They are so fun and they "scream my name," or so people have told me. They are super comfortable for mall runs with a roped border and denim all around. Tory Burch is one of my top 5 favorite designers; I love bright colors and patterns which her line totally demonstrates.

Here are some purchases from my recent hauls at Zara, H&M, F21, etc. The hot sun calls for crop tops, shorts, short sleeves/sleeveless, and no layers! (Yes, it can be that hot). I find this more of a beachy outfit, but I can wear it pretty much anywhere along with those clear jelly Steve Madden's; they are extremely comfortable apart from TOMS.

Just some Blackberry Photos from the Summer so far. Every Summer, I accomplish something, start a new habit (like fashion blogging; flashback 2 years ago), etc. This summer, I haven't really started something new, unless you count my newfound love for Mocha Coconut Frappuccino's from Starbucks and dried Mango slices. :x In the third photo, I was shopping in H&M and came across this awesome bracelet with a ring attached. It has such a romantic vintage look to it that I like. I've also been spending a lot of time on South Beach and I went on a recent Zara haul, so look forward to those items in upcoming posts.

A couple friends and I were inspired by a video and decided to decorate some vintage shorts we found at our local thrift store. I am not too big on the new vintage trend sweeping the teenage generation lately, but I'm always open to new fashion. It was my first time thrifting and it was so much fun. I created a small area with leopard print by bleaching little spots and tracing them with black paint. Next, I wanted to get rid of the logo on the back pockets, so I used flat circle studs in gold and silver from the craft store to do so. I painted 'Love' over the tag with the logo, and just to add a wild effect, I ripped up the back pockets.

Just a few snapshots of Miami's dress code on Collins and Ocean. Everyone here has their own unique style. It's hard to tell the difference between natives and tourists. I just walked around observing people's style and then went on the beach for a few to walk around. I have to say, this summer is one full of relaxation and bright colors.

1. Herve Leger Ostrich coin purse that I got at BCBG outlet for a great price of $35! It's so cute and convenient.

2. BCBG Generation leather bracelets in 'Tough <3', 'Sweet', and 'Boss'. These bracelets are so cute and are great statement pieces. There are also other words, like 'Obsessed' or 'OMG!'.

3. Michael Kors Runway gold watch. This watch just speaks for itself when it's on my arm. I even wear it with silver jewelry and accessories.

4. Marc Jacob Ms. Marc earrings that I got at T.J Maxx for an unbelievable price. They are such cute earrings and I wear them with casual and dressy outfits.

5. Trina Turk square rings in ivory and turquoise. These bright and quirky rings are great with color blocking numbers or colorful patterns that the designer is also famous for.

6. Blackberry I'm a recent member of 'Team Blackberry' and I'm very addicted to BBM. It's a great phone to have in your hand and it keeps me occupied when bored!

Just some summer photos. I went bike riding with some friends and just enjoyed the sun and beautiful weather. I don't know if I've shared this with my readers yet, but one of my top 5 places to shop is Zara. I love that store so much. The quality and prices are great, about more than half my closet is filled with Zara pieces. Another one of my favorite stores is Anthropologie. I fell in love with this tribal one piece however, when I tried it on it didn't fit right in my size so I had to leave it. :( But, there will be many more swimsuits to come (I hope). I'm still on the hunt for the perfect ones!

One of my new favorite accessories that I purchased from BCBG Generation, it's a hook earring. Instead of piercing your ear it simply hooks on and it's very lightweight, so you don't have to worry about it weighing down your ear. As far as pairing it with an outfit or other accessories, it goes perfect with any top, but I strongly recommend and off the shoulder blouse to draw more attention to the hook earring.

Miami is filled with such artsy murals!

Spent the entire day in Miami. It rained afterwards. I love the fashion district, you see the most random yet amazing things. I wore something comfortable because I had to park and walk. Usually for mall runs or other errands I wear my J.Crew shorts, I have some in many playful patterns and colors. This one is my favorite.

Unfortunately, I got lost and didn't get to go in La epoca. La epoca is a big boutique that I heard is just plain amazing, too bad it was closed, I will be going back again soon, though. It felt like New York a little with all the big buildings and apartments (I've only been to New York once so, sorry if I'm wrong) lol.

I got this lovely purse the other day. It's leather is remarkable and so was the price. You know I love any and every thing with studs so this was a must-have at first sight! It's tan/nude colors lets it match with anything of any color. A tossle was attached to make it more playful. :) I took extra close-ups of it so you could see the great leather quality it has. Well, I'm going to be a busy bee for the next few weeks! I have plenty of summer assignments and planning on top of that. I will be blogging in between though!

HAPPY 4TH!

I hope everyone is enjoying the fireworks! I know I am! I had a great time in Jamaica and I am sorry for my absence again, I'm cleaning my computer and that takes quite a while but it's all for a good reason(I recommend it). The Summer weather is amazing and I hope it doesn't ever end. I spent today eating dinner with family and the rest of the night is for fireworks. :)

P.s My cousin, Alex took these with her new camera since mine was not around. I think she's a great photographer in-the-making!

Hey! So, I'm really into cropped tops. Since I am really tall, they show my mid-drift, but this one from We the Free(sister brand of Free People) fits just fine. I mixed my jewlery and I'm into charm bracelets more these days lol. Also, I'm so excited that I got this bag after months of hunting! I got a version of Alexander Wang's Donna bag. It's 100% vegan instead of being made from Lambskin. Although it doesn't feel the same, it's details are alike and it looks great with literally--everything! The zip in the middle allows it to expand or shorten for space and etc.

I have extra busy and recently went out of town and had a blast. I am pretty much counting the seconds until Summer. I have been taking a lot of photos from my trip so look out for that! Sunday is Mother's Day, I am gift hunting.

Yay!!! It's finally here! My necklace from LuShae Jewelry that is. I haven't bought a new piece of jewlery in a while. This Leafed Tahitian Pearl necklace is so sleek and elegant. I love that I can basically dress it up and down. It looks exactly like it's photo online so I knew what to expect and the packaging was pretty. I am happy, I haven't taken it off. The pearl is lightweight and blends perfectly with any blue, green, black, purple, and others! Can't wait to shop my closet and see what else it goes well with.

I am convinced that I have fallen in love with my new Vince Camuto heels! They are tan and just plain lovely. I got them at LF. I went to church today and got a lot of compliments on my new hair. I have always had bangs but I recently got it done and my hair dresser cut them back and she gave me sort of a bowl cut. I really like how it fits me, my hair is also darker. I prefer it that way. Well, the weekend it starting once again(oh how they go by so fassttt).

I got an excellent surprise today! I actually stayed home sick and cleaned up a bit and as I was doing so I heard a knock at the door and a car driving off. I rushed to see a large package at my doorstep and it said Teen Vogue on it, my heart skipped beats as I opened it to reveal a Harajuku Lovers bag! It turns out that I had won a sweepstakes that I entered a few months ago. I am so happy, the bag is just beautiful and perfect for my upcoming vacation to Jamaica. I can't wait! Thank you, Teen Vogue! :)

Today is TOMS One Day without shoes! In order to raise awareness of the fact that not everyone has shoes, people are asked to go barefoot. It was difficult for me to do in school so I am barefoot at home. It's quite hard actually--being barefoot--you feel every single thing under your feet. You are prone to be stuck by anything and sticky things get stuck as well. I cannot imagine poor children in other countries that don't have the protection of shoes to protect their bare soles. There is a disease caused by infections entering the entire body through the soles by being barefoot. It is 100% preventable...by wearing shoes! Hello, April. Months are going by quite fast. Spring break was even faster but I took that time to relax (hence the leap of blog posts). I have had this dress for a while since Christmas. I also got a dress form and that's where this dress has been sitting since. Today was perfect for it. I think I got taller because it seemed slightly shorter...hmmm. lol.

It is the little things that inspire me. The smallest picture in a magazine article or even a particular font. I know it's a little strange but, hey, it keeps me motivated and I love fashion. :) Anyways, I came across this lovely picture in H&M magazine that I have been currently obsessed with. I love it. My favorite model (Chanel Iman,2nd) is in and they are backstage at Sonia Rykiel. I also love the studded berets and I am currently on the mission to D.I.Y one for myself. I'll probably purchase a beret from American Apparel and add studs and other hard metal-ish things. I'll let you know how that turns out! TTFN!

The sunset was so beautiful.

It's Spring and my wardrobe is becoming darker instead of brighter. That is strange but it is a change. I like it though. :) I was a little skeptical about these jeans. At first they didn't appeal to me and I couldn't find anything to match it with. After a few searching and closet digging, it became perfect! Oh, and this necklace I got at LF, has stolen my heart. It is so elegant, vintage, and classy all in one! It's not heavy at all and goes well with anything. I love the charms on it, too. Well, yesterday the weather was lovely and this morning it turned into a terrible storm. You would think a fire hydrant exploded or something. Ha! Well, I'm watching a movie because with weather like this it calls for a nice movie and baked cookies. Have a wonderful day!

Most beautiful weather...ever

I reunited with my best friend, Karina this weekend. We had so much fun. I tried a Godiva chocolate shake in milk chocolate decadence. It was amazing, we were both 'chocolate-ed' out by the time we were done. The weather was a little chilly and very windy today, but I didn't mind it. The wind was perfect for our photoshoot...hence our hair blowing in it ;).

Here are my Roxy bleached denim shorts. (Yes, I still adore the cloud wash :P) I just wore a plain white t-shirt and my favorite white Guess jacket. I bought these shoes from UO they are by Deanna and Ozzy; and let me tell you, these shoes are total eye-catchers everyone kept staring at them while we were out. hahaha! And Karina makes bows. They are hand-made and just plain awesome. (She made me this zebra one that I think I am obsessed with now because I'm forcing to match everything!). She also made a Vans bow as well (see last picture and yep, that's her).

The Bucket List

I have been sticking my nose is the new issues of Lucky, Elle, and Vogue. I am loving the bucket bag trend. It is basically in it's name; a bag that is a bucket. It holds everything I need and very comfortable on the shoulder or can be worn as a cross body as well. Above I borrowed my mother's vintage Louis Vuitton bucket bag! It is hard to close because it must be tied but, otherwise it's a classic and Monogram print goes with almost everything.

My look was rather casual today. I was running a few errands so comfort was key. I also got these new pumps from Steve Madden, I like how blue they are and they way they pop any plain outfit. Hope you have a wonderful day!

I have fell in love with all things lace! The detail on this blouse is remarkable. Leifsdottir is Anthropoligie's sister brand. I love it. Every piece is just beautiful. But, back to this blouse; the pleated lace can be dress up or down. I am not to sure what to wear it with as yet, so I did not purchase it. These are pictures taken by me in the fitting room. It is a little hard to match up with things so I put it on hold so that I could 'shop my closet' first. ;) Do you have any suggestions for outifts?

Well, my blog s my salute to every and any-thing fashion that I love. Mostly, it has been outifts. I always wear shoes but, I never really paid much attention to them...that sounds bad...I have paid attention to them but, lately, it is beginning to become an obsession. I am headed straight to the shoe section as soon as I enter the store and my heel length is becoming higher and higher by each purchase (as if I need to be any taller)! ;) I love wedges.

I don't think I am the only one noticing that random shift in the weather lately. The moon has been shining brighter than usual. It is a very beautiful sight, though. In the first picture, it was around 4 or 5 o'clock and the moon was already full and bright in the corner of an evening sky.

In my previous post, I did mention traveling to off the map locations to shop. Well, I found this great boutique where I scored these amazing LF+JC(Jeffery Campbell) shoes. They are nude and look great with lace. Pales and nude is in. I love how the lace from my top matches my skirt, they are both of the same pattern. The colors are like caramel and remind me of lattes for some reason...yum!

We are in the third month of 2010 already. Well, I have been venturing out of my local shopping malls to ones that are about an hour away. I find it quite worth it. After all, fashion is all about being unique not like everyone else, going to the same store to buy the same dress. HA! Not, I! I have also been learning to 'shop my closet' lately. I often take a look at clothes in my closet while shopping and thanks to a cool app on my phone it is a breeze. Hope you have a great week!

Hello, there! Well, the weather has been switching up on and off causing the sky to be extra blue and just plain flawless. This outfit is perfect for just about anything. I had a field day while taking photos of my family and nature. In my grandmother's garden I found these flowers (above) they are so beautiful but the thorns of their stem make them appear to have a dark side. tehehe!

Anyways, When I was on South Beach my mother pointed out to me a wall in a boutique full of old sewing machines. They so beautiful! I was rushing so I snapped as much photos as I could. I didn't get to fully browse the clothing but, what I did see was amazing. The clothes were ultra-vintage and chique! I wanted to buy it all. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the boutique at all. It's not even at the tip of my tongue. : / boo! I will just have to venture back there to retrieve that info again. For now, enjoy these beautiful vintage machines.

People watching on South Beach I came across this bag. It was big and could anything from a magazine to a water bottle. I came to the conclusion that when studs are worn with white they seem softer than when worn with black creating a hard look. In this picture she wore white knit dress that looked perfect. I like when studs are found randomly or (in this case) all over something. And for some reason studs also remind me of Rhianna's song: hard; the perfect song for a tough style.

Hey, you! I had the best weekend ever! seriously! I was all over the place and for your sake broke my neck trying to take the best pictures possible. So why was it the best weekend ever? Well, that is simply because:

THURSDAY: I went to the Owl City/Lights/Deas Vail concert with my best friend.

It was the second best concert I've been to (after Beyonce) ;). My favorite was Owl City and his dancers/singers. They were so good! I will post a video later or tomorrow. Unfortunately, DSLR cameras are not allowed in the venue so I had to bring my smaller camera.

SATURDAY: I took on South Beach and attended the 4th annual, Celebrity Beach Bowl. Which featured several celebrites. Marissa Miller, Brian McKnight, Jessica Szhor, Chace Crawford, Marc Sanchez, Eli Manning, TAYLOR LAUTNER!!!!, and other NFL players and celebs. I was screaming my lungs out at the sight of Taylor Lautner. I was seriously shaken and struck by his gorgeousness. ;) It was a very good game of flag football amoung the celebrities.
Before the beach bowl, I relaxed in South Beach, people watching and snapping away with my camera. I saw a lot of people that had amazing wardrobes. I basically had a field day down there.

I was pretty close. I mean I had to, it was Taylor Lautner for pete's sake! lol. Mind you these are only 2 photos of the 520+ I took only of him. Can you say obsession? Overall, this week was just amazing. I had a great time. I love my life. I have plenty more pictures to show so stay tuned.

I love these tye-dye/bleached/cloud wash jeans! I am killing them! They are so versatile, surprisingly.

So many celebs are wearing them from Kim Kardashian to Paris Hilton. I channeled Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Alessandra, and Ciara's look all in one day. I think I did a pretty good job. ;)

I took the stripes from Paris Hilton and the white tank from Kim Kardashian to combine my look.

I got this cardigan for Christmas from my great aunt in New York. It's so lovely. I can wear it with almost everything. Black and white stripes are very IN. You'll be seeing this around!

I've been meaning to wear this jumpsuit for the past month. I got this Gucci belt a while back. I felt that it really pops the black in the jumpsuit. I wore my watch again! ...Told you I love it!
Lately, I am in a extra shopping mood...and there's nothing wrong with that at all! ;) A lot of my favorite stores have been calling my name to come in and buy and I obey. That sounds like something out of one of my favorite movies: Confessions of a Shopaholic. tehehe.     Hey! I am pretty excited and polished! Excited, because I got the watch I have been searching for forever. Polished, because I was told my outfit would look so if I followed a certain fashion equation in Seventeen magazine.
    So the watch. I'm pretty sure that you all know Michele watches. They are those extra high price watches in Nordstrom that make your wrist look classy and worth almost a million dollars! :)
    I usually don't read Seventeen but lately I picked this one up out of pure curiousity, then I found the 'Own this? Buy that!' segment and fell in love. It's really convienient...encourages me to shop my closet before I shop the stores. tehehehe!

Deep. Yes, I know! Listening to music is a big part of my fashion inspiration. It helps me think and when I'm drawing, develops mental images for me to put on paper.

Anyways, since it is "the coldest winter" I am in desperate need of boots! A friend of mine recomended that I go to DSW. Any suggestions? I looked on several designer websites and my size is sold out. Isn't it so heart-wrenching when your shopping online and click add to cart or buy and those fatal red letters appear with a sorry excuse?! booooo! (thumbs down). So, for now my shoe collection is remaining "boot-less" while I hunt.

Comfortable elegance

I went to a mall far away from my home town but the one hour and somthing minute drive was totally worth it. I went to Zara, Victoria's Secret, UO, and F21. I will blog about my purchases later but, here is what I wore. During Christmas time, when all the crazy sales were going on, I decided to go in Charlotte Russe. It's similiar to F21. I found this elegant ruffled lace blouse that has caught the eye of several. I paired it with my favorite pair of American Eagle pants. They are so comfortable. My gold Steve Madden heels brought out my gold earrings, necklace and braid on my F21 frill bag. Not only was this outfit comfortable but I could dress it up and down.

Whoa it's 2010! that's crazy. I hope you all have a blessed year. Okay, so my best friend, Katie teamed up with another friend of hers to create a dress made out of newspaper! Yes, newspaper! It came out fabulous. It reminded me of the one on Project Runway episode 5 when they had that challenge. The model is Angelique she looks beautiful as a "ballerina" with the dress on. When Katie told me she was doing this I was completely excited and once I saw how it came out, I was awed. When creative minds combine you get a masterpiece of fashion made out of newspaper! Great job Katie and Angelique!....I wanna make one. :)

I am in love with this Coach Audrey bag! It looks black from the picture but it is brown. I like how it gives an illusion of its color. It's almost like a Chameleon. The chain can be hidden and snapped into little straps underneath the bag. The bag can hold almost everything at a decent weight. Did I mention that I love this bag? aahahaha!

Christmas is only 4 days away. It is absolutely freezing here! So, referring back to the previous post, I have decided not to have a T.F.S YouTube channel. I am just going to keep here on the web.I hope you all have a blessed and safe Holiday!

It was just Thanksgiving! How can it be Christmas time now? Wow! The Holidays are here and making their mark with chilly weather. This calls for (faux) fur coats, blazers, sweater dresses, and anything else that's fashionable and keeps you warm. I didn't do a photoshoot today so this is going to be a pictureless post. Sorry. Well, I am actually thinking about starting a TFS channel on YouTube. I am not exactly sure, yet. I am still thinking deep into it. What are some of your opinions? I'd like to hear what my loyal followers have to say. :) Oh and since the Holidays have arrived, shopping is going to basically take up everything! It's hard to stay away from the mall especially with the amazing deals these days. I will defiently be hitting up F21, UO, ZARA, Juicy, and plenty more. Whoa! December is here. It was just August! Time really does fly.

The previous post mentioned my fortune from my fortune cookie (that stated my talents will be discovered and then greatly rewarded). Well, I think this really has come to pass. My best friend asked me to sketch out her prom dress. (I forgot to take a picture of it, so it'll be up tomorrow). Then, I was asked to design our school's powderpuff shirt and I offer random sketches to my friends from time to time but, how cool is that!? I can't believe it, my talent is rising up. Now, I have not gotten the reward part of the fortune yet, but we shall see.

My best friend also made me a paper crane...a pink one to be specific. She made it so fast. As you may notice like any other student it is perfectly normal to doodle in class. I bought my Teen Vogue with Dakota Fanning on the cover to read, and ended up drawing a copy of Dakota herself in the flawless Gucci dress. I want it!

I have not been blogging. I promised and just got caught up. But, I have decided to push push push myself and I am ready to be fully commited (again). I am sorry to all my loyal followers for the lack of posts. I have just been busy busy busy and I am officially back on the ball!

Happy 'late' Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a yummy day full of turkey and good memories. I did not go black Friday shopping. I don't really like shopping on such pressure, you know? However, I did hit up South Beach! It was so much fun. The atmosphere just made me want to dance and the beach was amazingly breathtaking. I got to see Versace house but I did not go inside. I also watching seagulls peck at some food on the shore and the waves crash abruptly at my feet.

I am working on getting my blog's foot in the door. I had Chinese takeout today and my forutne cookie read: :) Your talents will be recognized and suitable rewarded. :) Now, I'm not usually a fortune cookie grabber, but this really struck me. What if my talent will really get recognized?! I can only hope and pray to God that it will happen.

I am so sorry that it has taken me 10 days to post. I have been busy like I mentioned previously. I will try hard to get back up on schedule.
I like this top a lot. It may be hard to see but there are sequins emphasising the shoulders in a futuristic way. The geese are beautiful in pictures but they kept quacking at me in the process of taking their pitctures. (Maybe the shutter scared them).LOL. Went to a picnic with the fam Sunday. It was a breath-taking day.

The day was brighter than usual with the sun hiding behind the clouds. This caused some difficulty with getting a decent picture with my camera.

Anyways, Nike dunks. When I think of these shoes I think of the other 5,000 plus people that have them. They are pretty popular. Well, I never thought I would be lacing up my own pair until yesterday! As a late birthday gift, I found the most amazing pair of Nike's. They are silver and metallic with sparkles (ok yeah so they sound like a tricycle but it's not) making it look like diamonds in the distance. I can dress these up or down, wore em to school today...complement ticker= 11 :)

Yes, I know it's still summer. But, fur coats are in! The hairs are rising in magazines this month. I care deeply for animals so it is only fair that this coat is faux. Rachel Roy and Juicy Couture have the similar look but, I chose to go a lower price.I wore it two ways. Casual and dressy. The first two pictures are dressy and the last two, casual.

The coat is about the same length as my outfit! lol It makes look like one big piece.

I just began this new segment of T.F.S called the bulletin. It will just feature my cut outs/inspirations/and wants from magazines. :) lovely.

This week is: neon + black. A beautiful combo on the runway right now. Micheal Kors and Marc Jacobs have aced the trend in my opinion. But, the black forms a frame for the neon colors to pop. This way you won't look like a crossing gaurd or school zone sign. LOL.

Well, today I found something new. It's today's outfit: An long over tank top with a pencil skirt. It is an excellent fashion combo. The pencil skirt is hidden but just so you can see the slight curve at the end verifying its shape. It almost looks like a mix-match peplum! haha! This is my new trend discovery.HEAD TO TOE:

Pictures of ads in Vogue September issue that I like.

This movie is going to be an epic fashion film! Move over Devil wears prada and confessions of a shopaholic, this is the real thing behind the cover of Vogue. Anna Wintour is a legendary fashion icon.

Rachel Roy is my new role model! She is beautiful and her line is pretty good. In this picture it shows her sheek and haute hair cut. Seeing all these hair cuts makes me want to get closer to my scissors. For example, in this pic Rachel Roy's Aysmetrical cut is fabulous and Karla's short do is so masculine and feminine at the same time.

I smelled this new Juicy Couture perfume and discovered it's smell is much better than the other Juicy ones, at least in my opinion.

OMJ! (Oh Marc Jacobs!) hahaha! These shades are wonderful. I love them. These are the type that can fit any face shape. Just look at them. They may seem a little bazar but that's just MJ for you! I love his creative imagination. This is going on my birthday wishlist.

Well, school has begun again. Time flies! I don't think I will have too much homework assignments. That means more blogging! yay! The Fashion Salute is heading back home! Vacation was pretty awesome but, there really is no place like home. There are a lot of things to pack. T.F.S will have a pretty different setting but kept at its original fashion style, so don't worry. Sitting back and relaxing will be missed the most. Don't think T.F.S is ready for the start of school. Assignments need to be done and more supplies need to be bought. The ride home will be long so I have my hands full with the September issues of Vogue, Elle, and Teen Vogue. Well then, see you tomorrow!

That is right! This collection is going to fabulous I love the dresses. The collection is supposed to resemble gossip girl, however with an Anna Sui twist to it. I have not seen any of the pieces in person yet, but when they hit my second favorite store I will be sure to be up front and inform you what I think. Oh! did I mention the reasonable prices? But, I'm over that. I like harem pants. There I said it. To test my luck it made sense to get them for a reasonable price. So I went to a reasonable store (Forever 21). There I was helped by a very nice sales associate. Whom helped me find just what I asked for. LOL!

It's summer. It's almost over. But, I want these summer trends to stay forever. Such as a blazer of a little bright mini dress. I recently found this blazer at one of the biggest Forever 21's I've seen (which is were I went insanley crazy for fashion & at a time wasn't quite sure what to do with myself). When wearing a blazer over such a bold & colourful print, it tones it down a bit. I'm going to wear this today and test my complement ticker. ; )

I really like how the blazer is purposely curshed, leaving cute pleated details on the back. The rolled up sleeves give it a more tailored look.

As all you fashionistas may know, floral print is in. It has been very hard for me to find the right kind of floral. As in I don't want it to look extra "granny" but just right. I searched Forever 21's but no luck. Just as I was about to give up, I found this top in T.j Maxx. I rejoiced and hugged it. I will definitely be on the lookout for more decent florals. I think this is my new favourite outfit!

I really like this color combo oh-so much (red, green, & gold). It looks great with gold accessories. I have a new model her name is Kay-Ann. Her haircut is very sheek and featured in Vogue and Bazaar this month. With that her earrings are essential, so I had quite a blast fumbling through her collection. I am a tiny bit tempted to cut my hair to fit this new trend, however that will take a little bit more convincing to do, for now. There was a picture of Bob Marley in her house with a similar jacket.

We began to burst with laughter once we saw this AFTER the shoot. So, this is our mini tribute to him. : )

I think gold accessories are perfect with this color palette. Wooden bangles give it an extra "umph"

Sheer and clear

This blouse fits well. But, SURPRISE! Can you believe that it is actually a L as in large!? yep. It was a mistake and a realize that mistake was only for the better. It fits loose and just enough room to wiggle and breathe. The blouse is about as sheer and clear as the pool water.

Sheer is very hard to pair at times. To be a little bit more casual, I paired it with short jean shorts. It gives an illusion as a dress and blouse at the same time.

I like this outfit for a tea party. Even a family dinner. It is quite lovely. As you can see that "tucked-in" trend is begining to tuck me in as well! : ) I have a passion for the color pink especially when it pops a dark color like black in this case.

I did quite a random photoshoot today. After all this is the first post. This outfit is very casual with simple detail that dresses it up. I say it's perfect a mall day or date.

I absolutely love leopard. I know the boots are in, however that would be just a little too much for me. Therefore, I scored these Steve Madden pointy toe flats. They literally go with everything no matter the color.

The weather is capital H-O-T! I was sweating like a pig. lol. I am really into the whole "tucked-in" look. It adds a bit more dressy-ness to my wardrobe at times.
